Strawberries & Cream Bread

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar (use if you want it a little sweeter)
2 eggs, room temp.
1/2 cup sour cream, room temp.
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups fresh coarsely chopped strawberries,
3/4 cups walnuts (optional)

Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set asideIn a small bowl, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beat 1 min. or til light and airy. Add brown sugar and beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in sour cream and vanilla. Stir into flour mixture only til dry ingredients are moistened. Fold in Strawberries and nuts. Pour into a greased 8x4 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes or til toothpick comes out clean. Let stand for 10 min. in pan.

Turn onto a rack to cool. Enjoy!

Just a quick note, You can substitute Splenda in this recipe if you'd like a lower calorie or lower sugar version and it is still delicious. Enjoy!!
